Quand le bien s'affaiblit,

Quand le mal croît,

Je me fais un corps.

Dans tous les siècles je reviens

Pour délivrer le saint,

Pour détruire le péché du pécheur,

Pour faire régner la droiture.

Celui qui connaît la nature

De ma tâche et ma naissance sacrée

Ne naît pas à nouveau

Lorsqu'il quitte le corps :

Il vient à Moi.

Fuyant la crainte,

Le désir et la colère,

Il se cache en Moi,

Son refuge et sa sécurité.

Purifiés complètement dans les flammes de mon être,

Nombreux sont ceux qui trouvent en Moi leur foyer.

When goodness grows weak,
When evil increases,
I make myself a body.
In every age I come back
To deliver the holy,
To destroy the sin of the sinner,
To establish righteousness.

He who knows the nature
Of my task and my holy birth
Is not reborn
When he leaves this body;
He comes to Me.

Flying from fear,
From lust and anger,
He hides in Me,
His refuge and safety.
Burnt clean in the blaze of my being,
In Me many find home.
